Who owns D.I.N., how it is paid for, and what money cannot buy.

Effective 15 Oct 2026

Ownership

D.I.N. (Dis is N9ja, previously This is Naija) is owned and operated by Creative Natives Inc..

How D.I.N. is paid for

D.I.N. earns money from optional paid features: Verified subscriptions and Boosts, which let people pay to promote a post to more readers. Boosted posts are always labelled.

What money cannot buy

Payment never changes a news story, a fact-check verdict, a moderation decision, a YNDW outcome, a Naija Score or a place in News. Advertisers, subscribers and partners have no say over what the newsroom publishes.
